David H. Ashley, MD, DMD
Join us in welcoming Dr. David H. Ashley to our office! Is it time to have your wisdom teeth extracted? Dr. Ashley is an Oral Surgeon who works in our office for your convenience.
Dr. Ashley is originally from Arkansas but moved to Alabama to pursue a career in medicine. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he became a Doctor of Medicine and Medical Dentistry. He is a licensed physician in the state of Alabama and also holds certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS.
Dr. Ashley completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at UAB, and has also conducted medical research with UAB, NIH, and NASA. His Oral and Maxillofacial training includes pathology, TMJ disorders, cosmetic surgery, facial trauma surgery, reconstructive surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, and general anesthesia.
Dr. Ashley also works in the Emergency Room to keep up to date with medical knowledge and experience. He has also served on medical mission trips to Venezuela, Panama, Honduras, Guyana, and Mexico.
